The Procedure 

Before the procedure, we will apply a topical numbing cream to minimize your discomfort. We will then draw your blood and spin it in a centrifuge to separate the blood from the platelet rich plasma. Our doctor will then combine this plasma with the hyaluronic acid filler and begin injecting your face. A local anesthetic will also be applied to your face in order to reduce any discomfort that you might feel. Our doctor and our medical assistant will work with you to make sure that you are satisfied with your results.

After Care

In order to ensure proper healing, the following is advised: 

Intense/direct sunlight should be avoided for a few days. You should wash your face gently and avoid makeup for 12 hours after the procedure. Make sure to sleep with your head elevated for at least 2 nights, avoid rubbing your face, and do not engage in exercise for 72 hours. Arnica gel can be purchased from our office and applied to reduce bruising. 

Results are typically seen instantly, but note that it might take a few weeks to see the full effects of the treatment.
