What is Diva?
Diva is a hybrid fractional laser that targets the walls of the vagina to deliver a synergistic effect. The laser beam causes coagulation and denaturation of the protein in the tissues to stimulate collagen production in the vaginal tissue, and increase natural lubrication. Women who have symptoms that are affecting their daily lives such as, stress urinary incontinence like urine leaking with laughter or coughing, lack of natural lubrication as a result of menopause, symptoms of painful intercourse, whether it be as a result of childbirth or menopause, or a lack of orgasm, can all greatly benefit from this procedure!

The Procedure
Diva is a very quick, noninvasive procedure, only lasting around 3 to 5 minutes. Most patients will experience slight pressure during the procedure, but it should not be painful. Anesthesia is not used, but a topical numbing cream is applied for about one hour prior to the procedure, to reduce possible discomfort. We recommend 3 treatments, 4 weeks apart for the best results.
Aftercare
This procedure has minimal downtime, thus patients can resume to normal activity right after the procedure. Patients might experience some discharge, spotting, and discomfort for a few days, but it should go away on its own. We typically recommend that you do not partake in intercourse for a few days, and that you avoid pools and bathtubs.
