You might feel some discomfort, but it should be minimal. And this treatment should take no longer than 40 minutes.

A little pain is normal, and applying ice is allowed to ease any discomfort you might have.

How Long Do They Last?

Lip fillers typically last about a year. Younger patients might see results diminish faster, due to a faster metabolism.

Aftercare

There are a few things to keep in mind after your treatment is completed:

It is normal for swelling to last around 24-48 hours, but it could last up to a week, depending on the patient. You should give yourself at least two weeks to fully recover. 

Be cautious when eating and drinking, and do not use a straw for the first few days. You should also avoid alcohol, and try not to rub or touch your lips too much. You should also be mindful when brushing your teeth, and avoid applying lipstick, lip balm, lipgloss, or any similar product for the first day.
