What is a Lip Flip?
The lip flip procedure is done by injecting botox into the corners and edges of the lips. Dr. Anita Sabharwal uses Xeomin for this treatment. Botox is used to relax the muscles, thus it will make your upper lip "flip" upwards to give the appearance of fuller lips.
We will apply a topical anesthetic to reduce any discomfort you might feel. This is a quick procedure, only lasting around 15-20 minutes.
What Results Can I Expect?
The lip flip will give subtle results of fuller lips that lasts around 3-5 months.
Aftercare
The following are some post care instructions to follow:
- Avoid lip products for a few days
- Do not over touch or massage your lips
- Avoid drinking with a straw
- Sleep face up for a few days
- Do not exercise for at least 24 hours

Uses a dermal filler, Dr. Anita Sabharwal uses Juvederm. This treatment will increase the volume and fullness of your lips. Dr. Anita can customize this injectable to give you more subtle or dramatic results. Filler will typically last around 6-12 months. This treatment will be more expensive than the lip flip.
